Interns of NYC gathered last month to join the “Intern Queen”, Lauren Berger at her annual intern party. This year it was held at one of  Ann Taylor’s flagship stores on 60th and Madison. Networking, guest speakers, shopping at great discounts and amazingly delicious cupcakes: who wouldn’t love it? Speaker from companies like Johnson & Johnson, CBS, and Ogilvy and Mather shared their thoughts on networking, creating the perfect internship and how to best get into your industry of choice.

Now that the summer is sadly coming to a close, most are heading back to school or have nabbed a full time gig. Whether you’re an intern or former intern, going back to classes or starting you’re first job, remember that opportunity can be anywhere. Stay connected, stay open and stay true.
